Rooms, Food & Amenities

Our Rooms

We have singles, doubles and triples. Each room varies—some come with a view, some with a balcony, some with a bunk bed and some without.

What to know

Each room is furnished with a bed, an XL twin mattress (38" x 80"), desk, chair, closet and drawers.

Don't forget to bring personal items like bed sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, and toiletries! You may also want to bring a desk lamp, space heater, fan, mini-fridge or personal trash bin based on your living preferences.

Please do not bring cooking appliances or other fire hazards. Microwaves and toasters are available in the cafeteria.

Although pets are not allowed, we accomodate all certified service and support animals.

While some rooms have private bathrooms, most are shared. There are about two single-person bathrooms per 10 people. Each bathroom is cleaned weekly by the students that use it on a rotating basis. Hand soap, toilet paper and cleaning supplies are provided.

Rooms do not have centralized heating or air conditioning. Space heaters are available for loan during winter months.

Students will randomly be assigned a room upon their arrival at the Co-op. On the 3rd week of each quarter, members go through a room swapping process in which they choose new rooms and perferred roommates. Members choose their rooms in order of decreasing seniority, or the number of days they have lived at the Co-op. Members are only required to complete this process once, after which they may choose to not move again unless they desire to do so.

All rooms and common areas are equipped with high-speed internet.

Our Food

The room & board includes three meals a day including vegetarian and vegan options. Meals are prepared daily by a team of students and a professional chef.

What to know

19 meals are provided per week—breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinners on weekends.

A sandwich bar, a cereal bar and fresh fruits are available in case students need a snack in between meals.

While our kitchen has set meal periods, students that have late classes or other committments can order meals to be packaged and picked up upon their return to the Co-op.

Our Amenities

As a student-run institution, we know what it takes for students to thrive. Our amenities are designed to support students in their academics, their daily lives, and more!
