I'm so happy that this happened. Thanks to all who made it possible. There are too many memories for me to count about the Coop back in the day. It was kind of crazy being let out of my quiet little street in Silver Lake in the summer of 1974 and moving to 500 Landfair. Total culture shock, really. I moved away from the Coop for good in 1978. But the Coop never left me. The big lesson after the fact: moderation equals survival. I wound up back in Silver Lake for the last 42 years. I need Mother Ocean every day and that's a trek. But it has to happen. Looking forward to the reunion.

The co-op never leaves you. As Greg Nees once said,"You can take the boy out of the co-op, but you can't take the co-op out of the boy."
